IperionX Sustainability Internship

IperionX is offering an 8 to 10-week paid internship for a graduate student pursuing a degree related to Sustainability (including Business or other relevant degree). This internship is open to
all graduate students either currently enrolled or recently graduated regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or socioeconomic background.

Interns will have the opportunity to assist and learn from the IperionX VP of Sustainability in executing corporate sustainability strategy and initiatives. More information on IperionX’s sustainability program can be found here: https://iperionx.wpengine.com/sustainability/

Internship assignments may include:

• Annual sustainability report support (copy writing, research, etc.)
• Benchmark studies on sustainability topics
• Greenhouse gas emissions accounting data collection and analysis
• Support of life cycle assessment studies and research
• Corporate sustainability policy development
• Preparation of presentation materials
• Other relevant tasks as directed by the VP of Sustainability

Internship Dates:

• Dates flexible, please include availability in submission. Ideally the internship period will start in early to mid-June and will last until sometime in August

Internship Hours:

• Hours can vary between part time (20 hrs/week) to full time (40 hrs/week) during the internship period.

Internship Compensation:

• Pay is $40/hr. No other benefits are offered as part of this internship.

Internship Location:

• Fully remote.

Eligibility:

• Open to all currently enrolled graduate students. Students who have recently completed their graduate degree are also eligible to apply.
• Pursuing a graduate degree/major related to Sustainability (including Business or other relevant degree).
• Attending (or graduated from) a college or university in the United States.

• Written statement (250-500 words) responding to the following:
  • What are your future career goals and how will a sustainability internship with
    IperionX help you reach your goals? Please include your preferred internship start
    and end dates and number of hours available per week in your written statement.

Due Date:

• Applications are accepted through 11:59pm PST on Friday June 2, 2023. Please submit applications to [email protected] as a PDF file. The internship recipient will be notified by June 9, 2023.

Academic Credit:

• The IperionX Sustainability Internship may be applicable for academic credit. Please reach out to [email protected] and your academic advisor to determine if the IperionX Sustainability Internship is applicable for academic credit within your degree/major. The student is responsible for any fees or tuition requirements associated with the internship academic credit.

Release:

• By submitting this application, the award recipient agrees to have their name and image used in IperionX promotional materials and featured on IperionX social media if selected for the internship.
